    How to setup PHP error logging

    Non-technical person here. I need help understanding the instructions here as it is somewhat vague to me.

    Setup PHP Error Logging.

    I'm on GoDaddy Managed Wordpress Hosting.

    Step 2 states:

    "Locate your PHP initialization file". Is that the .user.ini file, highlighted below?Capture.PNG

    Step 4 states:

    "Place the following line in your initialization file:''

    error_log = /path/to/your/webroot/php_error.log

    Is the absolute path what I highlighted below, such that the line would be as follows?

    error_log = /home/c6a94111567527/html/php_error.log

    Step 6 states:
    ''Restart your PHP processes''

    How do I restart it?

    Being self-described as non-technical, as an alternative to all that -- there is a plugin you can try:

    Error Log Monitor
