Adding new MX record for external email but domain dns is not godaddy

hi, Id like to add an MX record to one of my Domains I have with Godaddy, but the DNS for this domain is not godaddy ones, so in the dns records it says We can't display your DNS information because your nameservers aren't managed by us.  So how can I add MX records to this domain so I can get email from Gsuite acccount?   help

You don't make this update in GoDaddy - You said you are managing your DNS elsewhere - THAT is where you add the MX record. MX records are part of the DNS Zone - so all managed in the same place.

You need to log into where you are managing the DNS and add it there

ok, but there is no place to add it.  in the DNS under that domain, under section records, its says "

Records

We can't display your DNS information because your nameservers aren't managed by us."

at the bottom is says:

at the bottom under advanced features it has

ok,

yes my DNS has been pointed to a website nameserver not go daddy name server.  I can just tell my nameserver to add MX records?

@sloanvanmierlo
