I have website builder for a month ago and now i have purchased a domain name from godaddy also.
But after i have changed my website from free URL into new domain name i can see that both URLs are working.
Like below:
https://example.godaddysites.com/
Please help me to remove URL which includes godaddy.
Full disclosure @OnurD, I have never had a free GoDaddy domain but after the purchase of a domain I do not think there is a way to delete it. I would say to contact customer support. I would also suggest that you do not want to delete your free domain? You wouldn't want someone else to claim that domain would you? I hope that helps?

Hi RD,
Thank but i think you don't get it. when you start using Website Builder and give a name to your website (name: abc) godaddy creates a free URL to see your website online like, https://abc.godaddysites.com/
After i have finished my design on website builder i wanted to make it professional and purchased domain name : abc.com
After that i have changed domain name in website builder to use my newly purchased abc.com.
From website builder -> Edit -> Site Settings -> Domain
Now my website is serving for both URLs, in which i don't want free godaddy URL to be active now !
https://abc.godaddysites.com/ --> This should be inactive
https://abc.com/ --> This is newly purchased
This must be a bug
After I replied to this topic I went and setup a quick GoCentral website using the free domain. I wondered where that domain configuration would exist and I couldn't find it. I couldn't even find where I would change it if I needed to. I don't see any possible way of configuring that domain. So I understand what you are saying.
What my point was is that if your company is ABC Services and your free domain is abcservices.godaddysites.com and your company domain (that you use) is abcservices.com you might want to keep the free domain otherwise once it was removed from your account someone else could then configure their website on abcservices.godaddysites.com
I'd say contact customer service to remove that free domain configuration. I don't know that there is another way to remove it? Please come back and let us know the result.
