    Send mail as from Gmail

    Hi, I have godaddy Email Plan 2 with my domain. And I have 8 email addresses. I have set up a few of the email addresses to "SEND AS" through Gmail. 

     

    However, i'm unable to successfully set up another email.

     

    i'm using the following:

     

    SMTP SERVER: mail.mydomain.com .... And I also tried without mail so just mydomain.com

    username hello@mydomain.com

     

    I keep getting the message Couldn't reach server. Please double-check the server and port number

     

    Can you help?

    There was some discussion (and arguments) about seeing up Gmail to retrieve your GoDaddy email in sending email through GMail. I'd start there? Your settings would depend on what email product you are using. I hope that helps? Come back and let us know if that discussion got you going.  

     

    ...turns out that my two cents is worth less or more depending on the current exchange rate.
