Outgoing e-mail SSL/TLS certificate fails with cPanel on Linux Hosting

I am unable to configure SSL/TLS security for outgoing e-mail server. When I configure an account with an e-mail client I get an error on the outbound server saying the certificate is no good. I have a certificate installed at mail.example.com and autodiscover.example.com and example.com.

Is there a way to get SSL/TLS security working for the cPanel outgoing mail server?

What is your domain name and what settings / ports are you using in your email client?

Are you trying to set this up for GMAIL to pop / send as the email on the cPanel server - if so you may have to use a2plcpnl0479.prod.iad2.secureserver.net

You may also have to turn on "use less secure app" in Google's security settings

No. I'm trying to set up the cPanel GoDaddy basic economy default e-mail on
the Gmail app for Android.
I can send and receive.
On the other end of sending from admin@recoverynow.net the e-mail is
encrypted with TLS.
I guess the problem of the certificate lies between the Gmail app and the
GoDaddy servers.
Perhaps I should ignore the issue, but I'm still going to be sending plain
text from my Android to GoDaddy.

I still believe if you turn on the "less secure apps" it will solve the issue for you
