I want to help, but I'm not clear on the lock you are referring to. The domain lock would only be unlocked to move (transfer) the domain.
You may want to contact Support about "delegation" - that is, giving someone partial authority over things in your account.
Otherwise, I don't know why your overall account might be locked if that is the concern. 24/7 Support can help identify any issue there.
